Financial Planning firm Finli Group has struck deals to acquire three advice firms as it notches up a total of 21 acquisitions so far this year.
These latest deals will add £1.1bn of assets to Finli and increase its total acquired clients’ assets in 2025 to £2bn.
The deals are part of a batch of 6 advice firm sales announced this week in an end of year takeover drive with many more deals struck in the past few weeks in a sign that M&A activity is maintaining momentum. Perspective Group has also acquired 3 firms this week.
The latest Financial Planning acquisitions expand Milton Keynes’ based Finli’s presence in Lancashire, Yorkshire and the Home Counties.
Financial Planning Today has asked for details of the three firms which has not been disclosed so far.
The group has been on an acquisition drive in recent years and in October added four advisory firms.
The October acquisitions were:
- Stirling-based Catterson Wealth Management
- Groundwell in Swindon
- Oaklands Wealth Management in Birmingham and
- Peter Guy Financial Planning in Chester
Finli currently serves more than 20,000 clients nationally and has a team of more than 100 Financial Planners.
Finli Group was established in 2021 under the name Solomon Capital Holdings by former Quilter Financial Planning CEO Andy Thompson and CFO Darren Sharke. The firm is backed by private equity firm JC Flowers & Co.
